How Your Donations Help
1. Health Care Initiatives: Your donations help provide essential medical screenings for cancer in the mountain areas of Uttarakhand. The state has a growing number of cases and one of the lowest cancer screening rates in the country. Hence, by the time the patients seek medical help, they are already in an advanced state and there is little that can be done. Our aim is to hold regular health and cancer screening camps, and wellness programs in the mountain communities, ensuring they have access to early detection and proper guidance for treatment.
2. Cultural Preservation: In the age of the internet, the local culture and traditions are dying or getting diluted by a glut of information. We aim to revive and preserve the cultural traditions of the region by collecting, recording, and preserving these fast-disappearing traditions. Your donations are used to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Himalayan region, including traditional arts, crafts, music, and folklore, ensuring they are passed down to future generations.
4. Environmental Conservation: Forest fires, overtourism, global warming, felling of trees, there are many enemies of nature and few friends. Become a friend of the environment and enable us to protect the delicate ecology of the Himalayan region. Contribute to our efforts in protecting the pristine natural environment of the Himalayas through reforestation, sustainable agriculture, and waste management programs.
5. Ayurveda and Yoga: The ancient Indian systems of Yoga and Ayurveda, offer holistic approaches to health and wellness, emphasizing harmony between mind, body, and spirit for a balanced and healthy life. Your contributions help in the promotion of Ayurveda, Yoga, and other traditional Indian medical systems, enhancing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in these communities.
